Temi vs. Mochi Health: two ways to buy a compounded GLP-1
Medically reviewed by Kevin Brandstetter, M.D.Last reviewed September 28, 2026
Mochi Health charges a membership — $79 month to month, or $588 for 12 months — plus medication priced by dose: compounded semaglutide from $60 a month and tirzepatide from $90 [2]. Mochi can also work with insurance. Temi has no required membership: compounded semaglutide is from $59.99 per vial plus a flat $39 service fee [5].
The core difference
This is the closest of Temi's comparisons, because both sell compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide. The difference is how the bill is built. Mochi's pricing page says medication cost is not included in the membership fee and prices medication by the weekly dose your provider prescribes, from $60 a month for compounded semaglutide and $90 for compounded tirzepatide [1]. The membership is now priced in its FAQ: $79 for one month, $207 for three, $354 for six and $588 for twelve, with an insurance-backed plan at $119 for six months or $199 for twelve [2]. A promotion currently takes the first month to $39. Temi drops the membership. A compounded order is the per-vial price at the pharmacy you pick — semaglutide from $59.99 per 7.5 mg vial, tirzepatide from $104.99 per 8.5 mg vial — plus a flat $39 prescription service fee, with nothing recurring [6]. Mochi suits people who want regular video visits and a care team; Temi suits people who want to pay only when they order.

Where the other provider offers more
Mochi's membership buys an ongoing relationship rather than a transaction. Its FAQ describes regular video visits with a physician and a health coach, labs, genetic testing and sleep apnoea assessment options, and 1:1 nutrition calls, with 24/7 customer support [2]. An insurance-backed plan adds medical nutrition therapy with a registered dietitian, and a medical assistant team chases prior authorisations. Mochi's per-dose pricing can undercut a per-vial price at low doses, and its range is wider: a weekly compounded semaglutide pill, compounded orforglipron and non-GLP-1 options such as metformin [3]. It also treats patients anywhere in the US, where Temi serves 10 states. If you want someone to talk to between doses and have insurance worth using, Mochi offers more. Temi is narrower by design: cash-pay, priced per order, with no subscription.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Mochi Health cost per month?
Membership plus medication. Mochi's FAQ lists membership at $79 for one month, $207 for three, $354 for six and $588 for twelve [2]. Compounded semaglutide starts at $60 a month and tirzepatide at $90, depending on dose [1]. Month to month, the lowest semaglutide total is about $139. At Temi it is $59.99 per vial plus $39 [5].
Does Mochi Health take insurance?
Yes, for parts of its service. Mochi collects insurance details at sign-up to verify coverage for its membership plans, medication and other services, offers an insurance-backed plan, and has a team that helps with prior authorisations [2]. Compounded medication is priced as cash. Temi is cash-pay only and never bills insurance.
Are Mochi's advertised prices the full cost?
No. Mochi's pricing page says the cost of medication is not included in the membership fee, so the $60 and $90 figures are medication only and the membership is charged on top [1]. Shipping is included in medication prices, per its FAQ. Add both lines together when comparing against a Temi order.
Is Mochi Health legit?
Mochi says its medical services are provided by licensed physicians and clinicians in independently owned practices, with Mochi Health Corp. supplying administrative and technology services, and that it has more than 500,000 patients [1]. Like every compounded provider, it notes that compounded medications are not approved or evaluated by the FDA. Temi's compounded products carry the same caveat.
Can I get a refund from Mochi?
Not on medication. Mochi's refund policy says it cannot accept returns or refund prescription medications, so all prescription sales are final [4]. Its FAQ does not set out membership cancellation terms, so confirm those before buying a 3-, 6- or 12-month plan. At Temi, if a request closes before prescribing, only the $39 review fee is charged.
Why does Mochi price per dose and Temi per vial?
They are different units. Mochi's price follows the weekly dose your provider prescribes [1]. A Temi fill is one vial, used for 28 days after it is first punctured rather than a calendar month [5]. Comparing fairly means costing both over the same stretch of time; our GLP-1 cost calculator does that.
Does Mochi offer an oral GLP-1?
Yes. Mochi lists a once-weekly compounded semaglutide pill from $62 and compounded orforglipron from $31, each plus membership [3]. Temi offers compounded semaglutide dissolving tablets taken daily, and its clinicians can prescribe Foundayo, the FDA-approved orforglipron tablet, filled by LillyDirect [10]. Which form suits you is a clinical question.
What are alternatives to Mochi Health?
If you want compounded GLP-1s without a membership, Temi charges per order. If you prefer a single bundled price, Found and Henry Meds include medication in the plan. Our Temi vs. Found and Temi vs. Henry Meds pages compare those models with current figures.
