The short answer: Medlocker and Temi now do different jobs. Medlocker sells medication by mail and, as of October 14, 2026, asks you to bring the prescription. Temi does not sell medication: a licensed physician reviews your refill request for $15, and an approved prescription goes to the pharmacy you choose. If your Medlocker prescription has run out, the question is who writes the next one.
Medlocker facts below come from medlocker.med and archived copies of medlocker.me, read October 14, 2026. For how Medlocker got here, read What happened to Medlocker?
What changed at Medlocker
For most of 2025 and early 2026, Medlocker's pitch was a prescription included with your order. The March 2026 homepage said: "Every order includes a complimentary prescription evaluation, if medically appropriate, and discreet delivery to your door."
That site, medlocker.me, no longer loads. The business now runs at medlocker.med, and its How It Works page says: "For prescription medications: You'll need to provide a valid prescription before we can ship your order." Its FAQ says: "We do not currently offer telemedicine consultations directly."
So a Medlocker customer whose prescription is out of refills now needs a prescriber somewhere else before Medlocker will ship.

The prescription: who writes it
This is the difference that matters most for a former Medlocker customer.
At Medlocker today, you supply the prescription. You can upload it, use one already on file, or have your prescriber or current pharmacy send it to one of the two pharmacies its How It Works page names. Its Terms of Use, effective September 27, 2026, still list "a medical intake for independent prescriber review" as one kind of order request, but the FAQ says the company does not currently offer telemedicine consultations directly.
At Temi, the prescription is the product. You answer questions online about a medication you already take. Kevin Brandstetter, M.D., or another physician licensed in the state you are in, reviews the request within 48 hours, often sooner. The physician decides. If the answer is yes, the prescription is sent to the pharmacy you name. If the physician needs more from you, the team asks by message. There is no appointment and no video call.
The pharmacy: who fills it
Medlocker fills through its partner. Its FAQ says all medications are dispensed by Advanced Pharmacy in Tampa, and its How It Works page also names Stroud Compounding & Wellness Drugstore in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, as a place to send a prescription. Standard shipping, per the FAQ, "typically takes 3–5 business days."
Temi does not fill anything. You choose the pharmacy: the one around the corner, a grocery store pharmacy, or a mail-order pharmacy. That choice is also how you control the medication price, because you can compare pharmacies, use a discount card, or use your insurance there.
The price: what you pay, and to whom
Medlocker charges for the medication. Its catalog lists a price per pill for each medication and strength. On October 14, 2026, its homepage listed losartan at $2.00 per pill and atorvastatin at $1.50 per pill at the 30-tablet tier. Payment options in its FAQ are cards, ACH bank transfer, and Zelle.
Temi charges for the physician's review: $15 per medication, shown before you pay, whatever the decision. A Temi Care membership, $449 a year, makes refill reviews $0 and waives the $79 New Prescription fee. You pay your pharmacy for the medication separately.
For scale, and not as a quote from either service: in our losartan price guide, Cost Plus Drugs listed 30 tablets of losartan 50 mg at $5.52 plus $5.25 shipping, and Walmart listed 30 tablets at $9, checked October 14, 2026. Prices vary by pharmacy, strength, and state.
Insurance
Neither service bills your insurance. The difference is what happens next. At Medlocker, its FAQ says it "does not bill insurance or encourage reimbursement," and the medication comes from its partner pharmacy. At Temi, the $15 is cash, but the prescription goes to a pharmacy you choose, so you can still use insurance or a discount card there for the medication.
Medications
Medlocker's catalog runs to 48 products, prescription and over the counter.
Temi reviews refills of non-controlled medications you already take. That covers many of the medications Medlocker listed, including lisinopril, losartan, amlodipine, metoprolol, atorvastatin, metformin, escitalopram, citalopram, bupropion, buspirone, sildenafil, tadalafil, and estradiol. Type yours into the refill search to check. An antibiotic goes through the $79 New Prescription service instead, with the fee shown before you pay.
Temi does not prescribe controlled substances or isotretinoin, does not treat patients under 18, and does not handle anything that needs a physical exam or emergency care.
Support, refunds, and who you are dealing with
Medlocker's support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern, by phone, email, and chat on its site. Its FAQ says refunds are evaluated case by case. Its Terms of Use name the operator, Marcon John Solutions Inc., at a Wilmington, Delaware, address.
Temi answers by phone or text 24/7 at +1 (855) 554-3030. Under the Temi Satisfaction Guarantee, if you are not satisfied with the clinical service, tell the team why and the review fee is refunded; a decision you did not want is not by itself a refund. Temi holds LegitScript Healthcare Merchant Certification, and the seal in Temi's site footer links to the verification.
States
Temi reviews requests from patients located in Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Michigan, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin. What matters is the state you are in when you submit. Medlocker's terms say you must "reside in a state served by the relevant partners," and its site does not list the states.
Which one to use
- You already have a valid prescription and want it filled by mail through the pharmacy Medlocker names: that is what medlocker.med offers now.
- You need a new prescription for a medication you already take, and want to fill it at a pharmacy you choose: that is what Temi does, for $15 per medication.
Some former Medlocker customers will want both: a Temi physician review for the prescription, then the pharmacy of their choice to fill it. Whether a given mail-order pharmacy can ship to your state is up to that pharmacy.
Start a refill request from the Medlocker alternative page. Before you order medication online from anyone, run these seven checks.
Medlocker facts were read on October 14, 2026, from medlocker.med and archived copies of medlocker.me. Medlocker is their name, not ours.
Frequently asked questions
Is Temi the same kind of service as Medlocker?
No. Medlocker takes orders for medication, and a licensed pharmacy dispenses and ships them, per its Terms of Use. Temi has a licensed physician review your refill request and sends an approved prescription to the pharmacy you choose. Temi does not sell or ship medication.
Can Temi write the prescription Medlocker now asks for?
Temi's physician reviews your request and decides. If approved, the prescription goes to the pharmacy you name. The review is $15 per medication, whatever the decision.
Is Temi cheaper than Medlocker?
They charge for different things. Medlocker charges for the medication, at the per-pill prices on its site. Temi charges $15 for the physician's review, and your pharmacy charges for the medication, so the total depends on the pharmacy you choose.
Does either one take insurance?
Neither bills insurance: Medlocker's FAQ says it does not, and Temi's fee is cash-pay. With Temi, the prescription goes to the pharmacy you choose, so you can use insurance or a discount card there.
