Frequently asked questions
How much does a refill cost?
$28 per refill request, or $0 with a Temi Care membership ($139/year). Either way, you pay your own pharmacy for the medication itself.
What does the $28 cover?
A licensed physician's review of your refill request and the prescription sent to your pharmacy. We make our money through memberships, so the fee stays low.
Which medications qualify?
Medications you take for an ongoing condition, like blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroid, or blood sugar. Refills are for continuation, not new prescriptions.
Can I refill a controlled substance?
No. We cannot prescribe controlled substances, including stimulants, opioids, and benzodiazepines.
Which pharmacy fills my prescription?
Your own. You tell us where to send it. We do not dispense or ship medication.
Do I need a membership?
No. Refills are $28 without one. A Temi Care membership ($139/year) makes refills free and waives fees on other medications.
How long does review take?
A physician usually reviews your request within a day. Once approved, it is sent to your pharmacy.
