Drug Details
BEVESPI AEROSPHERE combines an anticholinergic, glycopyrrolate, and a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA) medicine, formoterol fumarate. Anticholinergic and LABA medicines help the muscles around the airways in your lungs stay relaxed to prevent symptoms such as wheezing, cough, chest tightness, and shortness of breath. BEVESPI AEROSPHERE is a prescription medicine used to treat COPD (chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or both). Used as 2 inhalations, 2 times each day. Not for asthma or children.
Are allergic to glycopyrrolate, formoterol fumarate, or any ingredients. Have asthma.
Have heart problems, high blood pressure, seizures, thyroid problems, diabetes, liver problems, eye problems (glaucoma), prostate or bladder problems. Are pregnant or breastfeeding. Tell about all medicines including anticholinergics and other LABAs.
Use exactly as prescribed. 2 inhalations, 2 times each day (morning and evening). Do not use more than prescribed. If you miss a dose, take the next at the normal time.
Serious: increased asthma risk with LABA without corticosteroid, sudden breathing problems, serious allergic reactions, heart effects (increased blood pressure, chest pain, fast/irregular heartbeat), nervous system effects (tremor, nervousness), blood level changes, eye problems (acute narrow-angle glaucoma), urinary retention. Common: urinary tract infection, cough.
Room temperature 68ºF to 77ºF. Do not puncture canister. Do not use/store near heat or flame. Throw away 3 months after opening foil pouch or when dose indicator reaches zero.
Do not use for conditions not prescribed. Do not give to others.
Active ingredients: micronized glycopyrrolate and micronized formoterol fumarate
Inactive ingredients: hydrofluoroalkane (HFA 134a) and porous particles (comprised of DSPC [1,2-Distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine] and calcium chloride)
